Summary

A homeowner in Afton needed more than just a new window—they needed the opening itself fixed. Their old window wasn’t sitting square, which let in drafts and made opening it a hassle. This project was about restoring both comfort and function.

The Work

Removed the old window and inspected the rough opening for framing issues
Re-squared the opening so the new window would fit and operate smoothly
Installed the new window unit and sealed around the perimeter to prevent water leaks
Added new trim inside and out and made sure everything was clean when done

The Outcome

The new window sits level and opens with ease. The tight seal around the frame keeps weather outside. The room feels more comfortable, and the exterior looks refreshed. If windows in your home aren’t working right, we can help you fix the frame and the view.
